Inspired by digital art, where the beginning and end of a work cannot be easily decoded, Carsten Goering creates complex paintings that in physical form play with optical illusions and shifts in patterns and color codes, depending on your position in front of the work.

Jeg holder af Mark Eberts delte kompositioner, den slørede grønlige farveflade med bløde overgange og diffuse former, det skaber en atmosfærisk effekt. Et værk som dette afslører gradvist de mange detaljer der gemmer sig og venter på at vi opdager dem.

I enjoy Mark Ebert’s divided compositions, the blurred greenish color surface with soft transitions and diffuse shapes, it creates an atmospheric effect. A work like this gradually reveals the many details softly hidden just waiting for us to discover them.
