About

Benoni grew up surrounded by artists, art dealers, and collectors. Being the son of a gallerist, he would travel around Europe with his father to meet artists and explore their work, process, and skills firsthand.

Out of this grew a love and curiosity for the trade. With the ambition of becoming a key player in the Copenhagen art scene, he opened his own gallery in 2010 (Gallery B15 in 2010-2015, Galleri Benoni in 2015-present).

His early experience with the world of creatives, has helped grow a clear vision for the gallery: forming close relationships to fully comprehend the practice, themes and visions of the artists presented in the gallery, and fully understand how to cater to each client with a carefully curated and personalized experience.

Today, he runs Galleri Benoni with his partner in business and life, Camilla Rockall. As a team they are dedicated to meet all visitors to the gallery with an inclusive atmosphere. Together they work to nurture the vision of the gallery while exploring ever evolving ways and collaborations to share their love of the art.
